Gentle harmony

This painting is inspired by a peaceful morning spent walking through my friend’s rose garden with her on a hot summer’s day. The smells, sounds, colours and shimmering heat flooded my senses and left me with a sense of wellbeing and an appreciation for the beautiful abundance of nature and the blessing of friendship and connection. Painted with a renewed appreciation for people and places that remind me of what is important, what is real, lasting and authentic.
